The STS Construction team installed a “state-of-the-art” field in Dedham, MA in 2015.
The field was previously used as a “snow dump” during the record breaking winter of 2015. The project consisted of installing new lateral and perimeter drainage, an irrigation system, a sand-cap rootzone mixture, and new turfgrass sod. Prior to sodding, the team blended stabilizer fibers into the rootzone to increase shear and load-bearing strength which ultimately decreases compaction and increases rooting and traction.
